An Inter-School debate “Digitization has led to increasing unrest in the world” was held at Lancer’s International School ,Gurugram on 9th November, 2017.
Two students of our school – Saaransh Malhotra (Grade 8C) and Nikita Marwah (Grade 7B) participated in the debate. Our school won the first prize for their poise and confidence as well as the depth of understanding of the topic. This was no mean achievement as we were one of 12 teams competing in this event.
The speeches of the students were well acknowledged and well received. The two students chosen were considered to be deserving of a chance, for their blossoming talent is in dire need of exposure to such events.
We hope that our students continue to hone their skills in debating in future and bring laurels to the school.
