‘Thank you Bhaiya, Didi!’ chorused the IGCSE students which was followed by a thunderous round of rhythmic applause. It was an emotional moment for the entire support staff of our school which included the bus drivers, conductors, nannies, gardeners, housekeeping and catering services. A special assembly to mark the occasion of ‘ International Workers Day or May Day’, was organised by the members of the Social service Club.The assembly started with an inspirational poem on ‘ May Day’ was followed by a ‘ Fusion dance’ which left the audience entertained. Later, the nightingales of the IGCSE program mesmerized all with their melodious singing. ‘Thank you’ badges were presented to each of the support staff present which turned their surprised look into an emotional smile.The hard work of the members of the Social Service Club paid off when they witnessed the support staff beaming proudly and flaunting their badges throughout the day.
