On the 28th of February, 2017 a few enthusiastic pupils met up with their teacher in the Senior Art Room to watch and learn how to make simple and quick mono prints in black and white.
The process entailed rolling printing ink onto an acrylic sheet. After which a paper frame was placed over this. Then with the back of a paint brush or a toothpick a design or drawing was scratched through the layer of ink. A clean sheet of white paper was placed over this and a clean roller was rolled onto it. The inked design was thereafter to the white sheet.
The pupils were in a hurry as time was short, but even then they caught a glimpse into the fascinating world of Print making.
