Middle School (CS1) Professional Development Plan-2017
To support and strengthen teaching skills, inducting and mentoring novice teachers and providing professional growth opportunities to CS-1 staff members, a three day Professional Development Plan (PDP) was designed and spearheaded by CS-1 coordinator, Dr Manisha Mehta.
Workshop on ‘The Importance of effective Lesson Planning & Creativity in classrooms’ was conducted during the first two days of PDP to highlight the educator’s road map of what students need to learn and how it will be done effectively during the teaching learning process in the classrooms.
The third day was dedicated to discussing and planning the events of the Middle School Calendar in the morning followed by a fun-filled team building exercise on the field. A session of yoga, a team game with three volleyballs; volleyball and ‘tug of war’ were all packed into this slot.
