A workshop was conducted by Indiana University .The presenters detailed out the history of political T-shirt’s and how they are designed and sold in our modern day society.
TiyashaChakrobarthy, Athena Biju and Rajsi Sharma participated in discussion, exploration, instructions and designing of T-shirt quotes on topics like feminism, environment etc which emotionally impact people and their sentiments unknowingly. This was done under the guidance of Associate Professor – Dr. Heather Marie Akou from school of Art, Architecture + Design, Indiana University for high school students in India. GDGWS would like to thank Zafeena Suresh Director, IU India for organising this interesting and useful workshop for an amazing learning experience.
