On the fine morning of November 12, 2014, the young, talented students of PYP were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the Primary School from the front with commitment, confidence and competence. The Investiture Ceremony for the year 2014-15 was held at the school Assembly hall. It was a solemn occasion where the young leaders were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.
The Principal Mrs. Neeta Bali and PYP Coordinator Mrs Pretty Khosla did the honours of badging the New Head Girl Rajsi Sharma, the Head boy Pratush Purwar and the vice-head boy Kshytij Luthra, the vice-head girl Matina Papagianni , prefects and editorial board members. The respective housemistresses did the honours of badging the House captains and Vice- house captains.
Following this was the Oath Ceremony wherein the newly appointed leaders pledged to uphold the dignity of the school through their untiring service, hard work and co-operation. The esteemed Principal Mrs Neeta Bali congratulated the council members and their families and delivered a motivational speech emphasizing that each one of the young leaders should be committed to their various duties. Mrs. Pretty Khosla, the PYP coordinator addressed the assemblage and urged the newly appointed council to have a clear conscience while delineating their duties. She emphasized that leadership always comes with integrity, courage, tenacity, and patience.
With pride and a sense of achievement surging in their hearts, the Primary school student Council listened to the motivational words. The momentous ceremony ended with the National Anthem
