All melted in the sweetness of the ‘brown chocolates’ when PYP children and teachers celebrated Chocolate Day on 25th September, 2014.
The little Goenkans came dressed in shades of chocolate colored clothes to school. The enthusiastic chefs saw live chocolate making in the school refectory. Ms. Kawalpreet Lamba, the in-house connoisseur cum teacher guided the children about various processes used to make delectable chocolates.
Soon after their cooking session, the students came back to their respective form rooms & were shown a documentary on the ‘History of chocolate’. The eager children then watched the movie ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’ & created their own lip-smacking recipes on the paper. They had various interesting chocolate related worksheet planned during the day.
The fun filled day ended as the children were overwhelmed when chocolate donuts & chocolate Horlics were served to them during snack time.
