Festivals bring a special spirit in the heart of India. The students of PYP at G.D. Goenka World School performed a stupendous show by participating in a dance drama based on ‘Ramayan’. The children got into the various roles, they enacted & gave a brilliant message of the ‘Triumph of the good over the evil’ The hall was filled with awe struck audiences.
The children’s excitement reached its epitome when the same message was reiterated by burning of the effigy of ‘Ravana’ in the school amphitheatre.
‘Gandhi Jayanti’ was also celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm
The PYP children performed in various activities where they celebrated the birth of the preeminent leader of Indian independence movement in British-ruled India-Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. They sung the devotional songs on Mahatma Gandhi & reflected on the various attributes of PYP learner profile exhibited by him.
