PYP Eduexpo- Science Carnival was hosted by lit’le goenkans of Nursery to Grade 2 on Saturday, April 02, 2016. The grandeur of the event triggered intoxicating excitement among the children and the teachers equally.
Saturday morning saw around 90 students exhibiting models, innovative methods and hands-on games to learn Science, Mathematics and Language concepts.
The event was flagged off with children explaining about the solar system, animal kingdom, plant germination, matter and material, water cycle, electrostatic force, pressure and force through experiments. The exploration corner, story weaving, puppetry, mathematics games, the universe of numbers were the other exhibits wherein children showed their expertise.
Around 120 parents and visitors were pleasantly stunned and astonished to see Nursery to Grade 2 children displaying their understanding, creativity and confidence with great finesse. The pupils were hugely applauded and appreciated by one and all.
It was followed by the adventure hurdles in the courtyard, going wild with paints in Picasso Gully, clicky-click at Photo Booth, horse riding in the lush green fields, family games like Parachute and Bowling in the central courtyard, tattoo making and face painting.
The icing on the cake was the lavish spread of children’s favourite snacks during high tea. They deserved to go berserk over pizzas, pastries, tarts and sandwiches after the day’s hard work.
The week ended on a high note leaving everyone asking for more.
