G.D. Goenka school believes in the all round development of its students, which is why it is imperative for a student to participate in their favorite sport. The sport of swimming has been recorded since ancient times and for the same reason the school organized an inter house swimming competition on the 09th October 2014.
The children of grades 3- 5 gave their swimming trials & were shortlisted in the previous week. They participated in various swimming – 50m & 25 m open free style , backstroke 25m, breaststroke 25m , butterfly open & finally the relay race . This event brought forward the competitive spirit like any other sport & it also encouraged the least resistance whereby children obtained maximum speed.
