“Freedom in Mind, Faith in words, Pride in our Hearts, Memories in our Soul”
To commemorate our commitment to the constitution and to celebrate the rights of democracy we celebrated the 71stRepublic Day with patriotic zeal and fervor on the 24th January’ 2020.
The program began with the invocation to the Almighty to bless our dear nation on the propitious occasion of Republic day. As the choir sang a soulful hymn.
Director Principal, Dr Neeta Bali hoisted the tricolor in all its solemnity and grandeur with a live band playing the National anthem in the background.
The little cherubs from Pyp sang the patriotic song “Sare jahan se acha…” with a lot of passion and excitement. Their adorable song reverberated the surroundings.
The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood with an instrumental musical presentation of the song “mera mulk, mera Desh , mera yeh wattan”The orchestra was absolutely breathtaking.
An incredibly informative as well as interesting skit was performed to enlighten the gathering about the significance of Republic Day.
Next was a scintillating dance performance which kindled the patriotic spirit in every Indian heart. It was highly appreciated by one and all.
Director Principal Ma’am was then invited to address the gathering. Ma’am explained the Preamble which is the essence of the Constitution.
The occasion concluded with much grander as the students were felicitated for their achievements in the World’s scholar’s cup and National level Art competition organized by LalithaKala academy.
