The students of Cambridge Lower Secondary went on an educational trip to ASTROPORT, the first Astronomy-themed resort and activity centre in India and South Asia, Sariska in collaboration with Astro Tourism India Pvt. Ltd. on December 11th, 2022.
The students were engaged in an array of team building activities. The night sky observation was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn telescope handling, sky mapping and planet & constellation viewing. The interactive experience got the students come up with their curious questions leading into an interesting discussion with the facilitators.
The Jungle Safari was an excellent experience for students to connect with nature and explore the flora and fauna of the tiger reserve. They were thrilled to spot wild boars, sambhars, spotted deer and leopard. It was also a haven for bird lovers. The local guide acquainted the children with the history and interesting facts of the jungle.
Sumptuous meals, fun & frolic, bonding and learning were the takeaways of each day. The trip concluded with several fond memories and learning experiences.
