Science week was celebrated in the CS1 through an assembly which was presented by the students of 7A.
The enthusiastic masters of ceremony, Abhinav and Anshita introduced the CS1 students to the science assembly, which commenced with a prayer by Ahra, followed by the thought of the day by Naman and then there was news from different fields of science by Naavya, Maanya, Kaushal, Aaksh.
The highlights of the assembly were-
- Role play depicting the event of the year – the total solar eclipse in the US by Rameshwar, Evan, Ayush, Dhananjay.
- A very short musical showing the Earth’s close brush with the asteroid Florence, which is to occur on September 1st, 2017 was well presented through a classical dance by Kaynat along with Kuwar and Pranav.
- There was a presentation by Akshat, Jae Won, Nikhil, Himangini showing the adaptation by the goats of Moroco, which can climb trees and help in making the most sought after Argan oil.
The assembly ended with the National Anthem and words of encouragement by the HOP, Ms Deepti Kaushal.
