This is to apprise you about the session that Grade 8 had on ” Financial Literacy” by Mr. Wade Hartel from Edmonton, Canada on Tuesday, Dec 7, 2021. This was a half an hour session with Mr. Hartel who explained beautifully by giving real-life examples of why it is necessary and important to know about the topic “Financial Literacy” at this early age.
He spoke about what values we should base our savings on, tips on budgeting and managing income sustainably. His informative insights were a great contributor to the basic knowledge of financial literacy needed by students at their age.
