Session with Grade-2 students on the topic Anti -Bullying

Bullying has determinal effects on students’ health, well-being and learning. It can make students feel lonely, unhappy and frightened. A session was conducted on anti-bullying with Grade 2 students to show integration with their current Unit of Inquiry that is “Children across the globe face different challenges that effect quality of life.” The session was based on enlightening students about the major problem of school- violence and bullying being faced worldwide. Various consequences of bullying were discussed with students through video and open ended discussions. Activities such as bookmark colouring and taking anti bully pledge was a part of this interactive and informative session.
