The Management, Staff and students at GD Goenka World School firmly believe that Internationalism is not just a fancy jargon, it is a way of life. It is a strategic use of diversity for competitive advantage in the global workplace. The school gives an equal opportunity to all its students to work, explore and excel in whatever they do.
Aditya Banerjee, a student of grade X has been declared ‘The Student of the Year 2011-12’ by The Times Of India, a leading media house of the country. Aditya is one such student who explored the opportunities offered to him at school and made us proud by excelling in all the parameters laid down by the organization for this award. He has been awarded a trophy and a cash prize.
Heartiest Congratulations!!!!
“When I was first shortlisted by Chanda ma’am to send across my candidature for the Times of India- student of the year award, I was a little pessimistic especially when you take into account my competition from this institution. It was a great experience to run over my accolades over the past few years and reflect on myself which was the requirement of the candidate. But, it got me thinking – how owe a lot to all my teacher, non- teaching staff, peers, My Principal and parents. They have always supported me through every challenge and I am really thankful for that. “
