Seventeen students, along with two teachers, participated in the language immersion programme at St. Joseph’s School, Paris, from 31st May to 6th June, 2014. This cross-cultural learning was a phenomenal experience for us and the host school as well. Myriad activities spread during the week included a powerpoint presentation depicting the ethnic diversity of India and some highlights of our school, attending French lessons by Indian students, showcasing our ethnic dresses by putting up a fashion show, teaching French students our ‘much in demand’ Indian dance, and the most popular game of India – Cricket. Not only was the trip an opportunity to meet and exchange our perspectives with French students and establish bonhomie but also make memories that will last a lifetime.
