The Global Foundation and Leadership Foundation conducted a workshop for teachers of grade 8 and 9 on 23 August 2014 in GD Goenka WORLD School. There were 6 participating schools across UP and Haryana.
The workshop focused on long term sustained leadership intervention at the school level which focuses on embedding a culture of ethical leadership in the school through a unique value based curriculum aimed at cultivating a global mindset for effective leadership.
To provide experiential and real world learning, and promote output driven intervention, the curriculum is supported with Student Initiatives for students to participate in sensitization, appreciation, action and exchange programmes for Culture, art, adventure, self – awareness and community service.
The focus was to nurture and mentor young people to evolve into ethical leaders with a firm commitment to social justice, who will be the change makers of tomorrow.
