The young Goenkans made us all proud by securing high scores at the first ever Rock School exam held at G D Goenka World School. 12 students appeared for the Grade 1, Grade 3 and Grade 5 exam respectively and came out with flying colours. The examiner, Mr Edward Walker from the Rock School, United Kingdom, appreciated the effort of the students and complimented each one of them.
Yohan Middha was awarded a distinction with 90 percent marks in grade 1 exam whereas Avantika Dedha,Rhea Gandhi,Chhavi Vashisht ,Niza Nondo,Aditi Gautam and Njavwa are the merit holders with 80 percent and above. Archita Mohan, Arshia Garg and Vaishnavi Singh also did well with 70 percent and above marks.
Saumya Khanna appeared for grade 3 exam and Min Yu Lee appeared for grade 5 and both the students are the merit holders securing 80 percent and above The students are being trained by our school music teacher,Mr Yasho Yuvraj who is one of the two candidates in the country that took the Level 6 exam,which is equivalent to third year University Exam in United Kingdom.
