The Inter House Swimming Meet 2013 was an extravagant event with positive participation from student body and effective organisation by our sports department specially the Swimming Team. The senior participants were plentiful; however the PYP participation was abundant, almost double from last year. The two PYP groups this year were; Tadpoles (Grade 3) and Frogs (Grade 4 & 5).
The adrenaline and excitement provided the perfect atmosphere for one of the schools most celebrated events. Cycas won with 211 points, while Cedrus (204), Nyssa (142) and Sorbus (136) came second, third and fourth respectively. This year’s event showed that despite some of the finest swimmers graduating, GD Goenka has an amazing event to look forward to next year. The final, tabulated results of the competition are below.
