The Recognition Day celebrated on 21st of August brought felicitation and honors to all the deserving students and it made both the parents as well as the teachers. The Director Principal at first warmly welcomed all and said how this recognition day was threefold because we were not just recognising the children but also parents for their unflinching support and the teachers who are the frontline warriors. She also appreciated the ability of the children to learn life skills and the ability to cope with every situation and in this way they had taught us how to adapt and sustain ourselves in life.
The Chief Guest for the occasion Dr Kumud Diwan was very impressed with the accolades and the performances of the students. She said, “A holistic development of the students in today’s world was very necessary and it is necessary that along with the academic prowess the extra curricular is given due importance.The most important thing is to develop the excellence to be a good human being which can be possible by contributing to the community.”
The program culminated with a vote of thanks by the Head of Programme, IBDP Dr Manisha Mehta who also expressed her delight in announcing some achievements of students in IBDP 2021.
The most prestigious award, the Chairman’s award forIBDP2021 batch went to Sumer Kaisthawho scored 44/45 points.
