The students of G.D. Goenka World School, Sohna, put up a great Trade Fair, exhibiting their immense knowledge, creativity and talent. Around 50 students from IGCSE and IBDP participated and put up 17 stalls. The stalls included consumer goods , producer goods as well as services. The stalls included the products like handicrafts, jewellery, fashion designing, textiles, yarn, cotton apparels, Shoes , mineral water, Ayurvedic medicines and services like Spa and travel and tourism.
It was great to see the student’s enthusiasm and they presented their ideas with great creativity, applying it to the real business world. The students had not only designed their products but also designed their business cards, logos for their brands, brochures and business plans. An in depth analysis was conducted for the Political, Economic, Social and Technological opportunities and threats to their products in the international markets of Germany, France and Spain. Pricing strategies and promotional techniques (advertisements) were also designed.
Mrs. Sukriti of Goethe Institute, Max Mueller Bhavan (of Pasch Program-Indo- German student exchange program) was the Guest visitor to the Trade Fair. Mrs. Sukriti was highly impressed with the enthusiastic involvement of the students and the immense research done by them.
This is a great step towards the dimensions of internationalism.
