Whole School Reading Program

admin News & Events

Reading is an excellent habit that everybody should develop in their lives. Reading helps you gain knowledge and let you experience things through the thoughts of the writer. It also opens up your mind to new ideas, culture, places, philosophies and theories. Whole School Reading Program commenced on August 5, 2015 with the motive of seeing all readers as Star Readers.

Pupils are reinforced to read more and more books and improve writing skills with creativity by writing book reviews. E books promotion was main attraction of the event. Pupils were directed to use International Children’s Digital Library which support the world’s children in becoming effective members of the global community – who exhibit tolerance and respect for diverse cultures, languages and ideas – by making the best in children’s literature available online free of charge. The ICDL collection includes 4619 books in 59 languages.

School is also started with READ FOR PLEASURE: Middle School Library Wiki where pupils can see Library activities, new arrivals and can participate online by adding their book reviews.
