Education opens people’s eyes and minds to the realities of globalized world and awakens them to bring about a world of greater justice, equity and human rights to all. Young people as agents of change have a lot of responsibility in fostering global understanding and peace through creating awareness. In order to spread awareness about how an equal access to education can empower us to transform lives, pupils of Grade 5 organized a Walkathon in school on Thursday,18th February 2016. Pupils from Grade 1 to Grade 5 participated in it. To encourage the pupils, Head of Programme, Ms Pretty Khosla graced the occasion.
