Spanish Roadshow was conducted in school on 22nd November at GDGOENKA World School campus. Representatives from four different schools from Spain visited the school. The event started with a heartiest Indian welcome, followed by lamp lighting and address by the Director-Principal, Neeta Bali. The students presented Intercultural similarities and differences through a role play and showed various Spanish accents and vocabulary used amongst various Spanish speaking countries.They also demonstrated various Spanish words similar to Hindi.
To add flavor, there was a Violin and a dance performance on Spanish song. The zeal and enthusiasm led the representatives to show us their traditional dance “Flamenco’. Later there were deliberations about the exchange program. The warmth and inter cultural bonding was evident from the beginning till the end.The event was attended by representatives from 4 Spanish schools and members of Spanish consulate as well as Ignacio Hidalgo Bricio , Trade Advisor , Consulate General of Spain.
