G. D. Goenka World School is part of the small group of schools which are invited by the British Council to join the league of British Council Ambassador schools. These are the schools whose management and governors feel strongly that young people in their schools need education that takes them beyond the narrow confines of their classroom. They are willing to commit themselves to sharing their resources and expertise to support British Council in its endeavour. The British Council offers nominated staff of the ambassador schools training and resources to represent the British Council as British Council School Ambassadors at workshops, seminars and conferences. The BCSAs are invited to participate in pilot projects of the British Council and advice in developing new products and services for schools. Ms Madhu Bhargava, Dean of Libraries and ISA Coordinator, was part of assessment panel for the assessment of International School Award Dossiers from all over India schools from 2-5th May 2017 held at Kolkata.
