God has sent angels in the form of mothers. We thank god for such a precious gift. PYP organised Mother’s Day Celebrations on 15th May 2017 in the Assembly Hall for the mothers of PYP Goenkans. The dress code was ‘ Dress Alike ‘.
The program started with an energetic , enthusiastic and charming action song by the junior most Goenkans- Nursery; followed by a lively performance by grade K.G. The vibrant and beautiful moms of grade 1 pupils accompanied them on the ramp and danced to the music. A short poem “My Perfect Mother” by Donna Fargo was recited by Aahil and Venika. Grade 2 presented a melodious song-Mommy Mommy. This was followed by a lively dance performance by grade 1 and 2 pupils.
The upper primary classes presented a flawless skit for mothers which stole the show and was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by one and all followed by a dance performance.
The celebration culminated with giving away of Swimming medals by the proud mothers of the achievers. Last but not the least, little Goenkans shared their feelings for their mothers in the form of a short movie.
Principal Sir thanked all the mothers for having taken out their precious time from their busy schedule for their little angels.
Mothers then proceeded to the forms of their children where they were welcomed by their children and the Form Tutor. They played games and danced with their angels.They were given a plant as a token of love by their angels.The mothers had all praises for making their day a cherished n memorable one.
