The Collaboration between Wasatch Academy, USA and GDGWS moved to another level

The Collaboration between Wasatch Academy, USA and GDGWS moved to another level wherein our teachers along with Head of Programs, exchange co-ordinators, Naina Vaish and Anumeha, counsellors and special educator along with Director Principal had the first Teacher Online Exchange session with Ms. Kara Loftin -Head of Student advisory at Wasatch Academy. The broad topic of the session was ‘Academic support systems for students with learning differences’. It was a consultation session. The main points discussed were:

• Developing a school culture of peace and empathy
• Helping students making and meeting long term and short term goals
• How are social skills and study skills integrated into a student’s life
• Universal screening tools to assess learning difficulties
• Sensitizing teachers about students with learning difficulties
• Normalizing differentiation in the classroom
