GD Goenka World School celebrated its 15th Founders day in the school premises. The programme was attended by the whole school community -Director Principal Dr. Neeta Balia, School Administrator Major Sharma, students from PYP, Lower Cambridge, IGCSE and IBDP and the staff. The day was celebrated with fervor, zest and enthusiasm in the school. The celebration started with the address of the Director Principal Dr. Neeta Bali who stressed on the vision of the founder of the school Mr. AK Goenka and the Vice Chairperson Ms. Renu Goenka. This was followed by a school song sung by the school choir. Our very own IBDP Grade 12 students who have been a part of the institution since the very beginning shared some nostalgic memories of the time spent in the school. A few teachers spoke about their wonderful journey in the school. The celebration concluded with the cake cutting ceremony and the birthday song sung by the school choir marking the end of yet another annual celebration of the founders day……….and the journey continues.
